Experience Austria’s biggest open inclined elevator which takes you from the Lärchwand inclined elevator station up to approx. 1,640m above sea level.
Busses wait at the mountain station of the Lärchwand inclined elevator near to the Limberg dam, which will lead you up to the Mooserboden dam at 2,040m, past attractions such as the Wasserfallboden dam and Fürthermoar-Alm.
Guided tours of the dam are always happening through which you can find out about how electrical energy is produced through the power of the water. “Erlebniswelt Strom & Eis” (electricity and ice adventure world), which lied between the Mooserboden and Drossen dams will give you lots of fascinating details about the world of glaciers and the history of the power plant.
