Eisriesenwelt in Werfen, the world’s largest glacial cave is stunning in the way it presents itself. Even during the summer, the ice palaces and their forms can be seen, crystal clear and grand. Water and ice formed this gigantic cave system millions of years ago and this world of ice extends over a length of more than 40km. The public has been able to now access 1km into the caves with a viewing area.
