Conquer the mountains around Maria Alm-Hinterthal with a mountain bike!

Whether you are a professional or a beginner – there are many mountain bike tours leading into the magnificent mountain world of Maria Alm-Hinterthal for people of all abilities.

Mountain bike tour up the Hundstein

From Unterberg, pass the Aberg-Bergbahnen and go via the Königsweg towards Hundstein.  The route up is challenging and runs past several huts which beckon you in for a mid-way stop.  When you arrive at the Hundstein, you will be rewarded with a breathtaking view over the Hohe Tauern, the Steinernes Meer and the Hochkönig.  The tour is estimated to last about 4hrs.

Bike pleasantly through the valley

The journey leads right from the Hotel to Maria Alm, via the golf course towards Saalfelden, past the Ritzensee to Almdorf and via Maria Alm back to Hinterthal.  You should plan in approx. 3hours to complete the route.
